Lightweight Drinker Complains of Freak Brew
May 6, 2008
A Romanian man has complained to trading standards after he got drunk off just one can of beer. Apparently he can usually hold his drink and insists there was something wrong with the beer after he almost passed out on the first can. The case continues…
According to ratebeer.com, the worlds strongest beer is “Dave” from US brewery Hair of the Dog with an ABV of 29%. 300 gallons of another beer was frozen twice leaving just 100 gallons of super-strength brew. Otherwise known as “Tramp Killer” (not really), one pint is equal in strength to 7 pints of Carling!

Whale first Boris Johnson Casualty
May 6, 2008
Talksport DJ, and all-round mouth, James Whale has been sacked after urging his listeners to vote for Boris Johnson in the London mayoral elections.
Whale made supporting comments on his late night show on March 20th and, under Ofcom rules, presenters are banned from showing any bias before elections. The comments were deemed serious enough for a straight dismissal despite Whale being with the station since it’s launch in 1995.
So, the first casualty of the new Boris Johnson reign has been taken and we’re all sure they’ll be many more!
